With the Beats Pro Fit, Apple’s taken a crowd-favorite and turned it into one of the best workout headphones we’ve tested. These noise-canceling earbuds takes the performance of the Airpods Pro and makes them workout-friendly with wing tips that keep them in place and a custom-designed driver for a bassier sound.

Easily fits in your pocket

These Beats earbuds boasts a new sound profile with elevated highs and lows as well as good overall clarity. When we put them through their paces with Lil Nas X & Jack Harlow’s INDUSTRY BABY, we found them to deliver the driving bass line followed by a vocal track that moves depending on which way you’re facing, supporting Apple Music’s Dolby Atmos. If you want the concert experience during your run or on core day, these are the best workout earbuds to get.

adidas FWD-02 Sport True Wireless Earbuds Headphones

Adidas FWD-02 Sport

The Adidas FWD-02 Sport tick a few things off the list of things we need from running headphones. It offers a reliable fit thanks to them feeling relatively light in the ears and boasting a nice grippy finish on the outer surface. The ergonomic buds stay in place as you move, plus they come with extra tips and wings for a personalized fit.

They’re no slouch in sound quality and performance either. It delivers a powerful bass, which is great for listeners who need that thumping bass for motivation. And, it pumps out a loud and solid sound that it never felt overbearing in our tests. We also found the sound to be nice and punchy, though the mids did feel a little recessed and treble a tad harsh in higher volume.

The latest true wireless earbuds from Beats, the PowerBeats Pro, are supremely comfortable, sound decent and never, ever fall out. And, it will keep you entertained for even the longest training runs thanks to their nine-hour battery life.

These running earbuds stay in place, thanks to their close-fitting ear hooks. Of course, their IPX4 sweatproof rating, as well as nifty additions like the pressure-reducing micro-laser barometric venting hole, long battery life, and their superior sound quality, make them a compelling contender.

Where we found the Powerbeats Pro to perform their best is in near-quiet environments, like your office, your home or your gym. Because you can use hands-free Siri, they’re great for setting timers in between sets and placing calls to friends and clients. Take them outside for a run and these Beats headphones still do the trick thanks to their energetic sound.

Best Earphones for iPhone Users

Apple’s true wireless AirPods Pro earphones are vastly superior to the standard model, with solid noise cancellation, quality audio performance, and a far better in-ear fit that justifies the extra cost.In terms of noise cancellation, the AirPods Pro do an excellent job of tamping down keyboard clicks and even nearby music and office chatter. They also take out a solid amount of low-frequency rumble, making them ideal for planes and trains.

We can detect a very slight hiss when the ANC is enabled, which is common. It’s very low in volume and doesn’t sound unpleasant, though the top-notch ANC circuitry out there doesn’t have this issue. Regardless, it’s barely audible, and not even close to a deal breaker. It’s hard to detect much of a difference in audio performance when ANC is enabled or off, which is a sign of quality active noise cancellation. Ultimately, it isn’t as good as what Bose is capable of, but it’s some of the better ANC we’ve tested among wireless earphones.

In addition to the ANC, there’s a Transparency listening mode, in which the ANC mics allow you to hear your surroundings so you can communicate without removing the earpieces. This mode is excellent in giving you just the right amount of surrounding audio needed for natural conversation.
